I Made a $6.87 Profit on a $97.66 Rite Aid Shopping Trip


I did it! After some serious coupon juggling, I managed to get 3 jumbo packs of Huggies plus a bunch of other stuff for better than free – I actually made a profit on my Rite Aid shopping trip today.

I had to break the purchases out into three separate transactions so that I could use three $5 off $20 coupons. The shopping trip went like this…

Today I saved $104.53 on $97.66 worth of merchandise (both totals include tax), or 107%, by shopping with a combination of sales, coupons, and rebates. Anyone who thinks that you can’t save money with coupons, or that you can only get coupons for junk food, needs to a look at this shopping trip. It is quite possible to legally walk out of a store without paying for merchandise. I do it all the time.
