I went yesterday and took advantage of some of these specials. I spent $30 and saved $40By using coupons and the item were on sale.Stacey
Val, Publix doesn't have this in the circular but they've also got 2 for $5 deals on the Tyson Chicken Nuggets, Patties, Tenders, Anytizers, etc. (I went shopping today.)
My Publix never--and I mean NEVER--has those Original Rangoon Bacon Wrapped Scallops in stock when they're at the BOGO price. I was there last week and was told they'd "ran out" so I asked the Customer Service desk for a raincheck, which they happily gave me. Today -- wanted to use the raincheck -- not a bacon-wrapped scallop in the jernt. What a revoltin' development THAT was!
It is not unusual for the chain stores to have different specials in different parts of the country. Unfortunately I can not cover all of the deals everywhere. That is why I suggest that you just use my list as a guide, and that you check your the sale flier for your local store.
My Publix has also been out of the Bacon Wrapped Scallops. They were out of the Dannon yogurt last week, too. Publix is terrific about giving rain checks, though, and the rain checks do not expire. So, you can redeem the rain check at any time for a BOGO item. I have used a rain check as much as one year later without any problems!
Congratulations on your 58% savings, Stacey! It has probably been as exciting for me to watch your savings grow each week as it has been for you. I personally know that you have been doing all the right things: expanding your coupon resources, coordinating your coupons with sales, and stockpiling. I can promise that if you keep it up, your savings will grow even more in the near future.
