CVS Savings on Sunday, 9/6

I knew I wanted to shop at CVS today because I had an extra coupon for $5 off a $30 order that was only good through tomorrow. (I have a hard time passing up an extra $5 savings.) I set my alarm to get up by 9:00 A.M. so that I could get there and shop before all of the deals were gone.

CVS had almost everything that I wanted, so I bought:

(2) canisters Mom’s All Natural Oatmeal (see earlier blog)
$2.00 - $1.50 (Qs) = .50¢

(2) Poly 2-pocket folders (Rain Check Item - reg. $1.19/each)
.98¢ - $1.00 (ECB) = .02¢ PROFIT

(2) 20 cnt. Calbier ballpoint pens (Rain Check Item – reg. $1.99/each)
$1.98 - $2.00 (ECB) = .02¢ PROFIT

(2) 2 cnt Caliber Sticky Notes (Rain Check Item – reg. $1.99/each)
$1.98 - $2.00 (ECB) = .02¢ PROFIT

(2) Scope Outlast mouthwash (reg. $4.79/each)
$6.98 – $5.00 (ECB) = $1.98

(1) Aussie Hairspray (reg. $4.69)
$2.99 - $1.00 (Q) - $2.00 (ECB) = .01¢ PROFIT

(2) Coppertone Nutrashield Sunscreen (reg. $12.99/each)
$13.98 - $10.00 (Qs) = $3.98

(1) Coppertone Nutrashield Face Sunscreen
Bonus = FREE

(1) Lifelock DVD
$2.99 - $2.99 (ECB) = FREE

The regular price of the merchandise I purchased would have been $55.58, but my net total was only $6.39, and I got a FREE tube of Coppertone face sunscreen and coupon for a FREE package of Poise pads. My savings today totaled over $49.19, or 88.5%.
